What will I do on this course?
You’ll explore the dynamic world of travel and tourism on this course, which includes a range of units that will prepare you for careers within the industry.
These include the UK travel and tourism sector, UK travel destinations, customer service, international destinations, business and marketing of travel and tourism.
As part of this study programme you will develop your maths and English skills, attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID) or Future Academy. You will also complete a work placement or extended industry placement. All aspects of your study programme will be discussed at your interview.
How will I be assessed?
We’ll assess your practical activities, group work, presentations, coursework, online assessments and examinations.
What could I do after this course?
You could enter into a variety of roles in the travel and tourism industry, or increase your skills by progressing to a Level 3 course at Weston College.
Five GCSEs at grade 9-2, with at least two at grade 4, or a Level 1 qualification.
