The NHS has over 350 roles available, and this four-week course will prepare you for one of them.
This exciting course is ideal for people looking to work in the NHS, whether that be in a care environment with ancillary roles or becoming ‘front-line’ staff. You don’t need any prior experience, just a desire to work with others.

What will I study?
On this NHS course, we explore a wide range of topics that will prepare you for life within the NHS. Topics we cover include:

Different types of care facilities

Safeguarding – why the people we support might be more vulnerable to abuse and mistreatment

Importance of working closely with other professionals – how we do so and why
-
Health and safety
-
Key terminology
Alongside the main qualification (Level 1 Certificate in Health & Care) we will also look at skills, personal development and how we can set and achieve goals and gain an ‘Entry 3 Award in Employability Skills.’
Progression Opportunities
On successful completion of the course, including all documents and training completed, you will be given a Guaranteed Interview with the NHS to assess your suitability as the first stage of the Interview process.

Entry Requirements
