Awards
There are many amazing success stories and awards to celebrate when it comes to Broadoak students that have gone through Weston College, but we want to shout about some recent events in particular where Broadoak students have gone above and beyond to achieve. MEET THE SCHOOL LIASON TEAM
The School Liaison team help to bridge the gap between school and college by offering information, advice and guidance to school leavers about all things Weston! You may see us in your school delivering a presentation in assembly or through a school leaver event at college, either way be sure to come and say hello!

Travel is an important factor to consider when starting something new, therefore when enrolling to college, we want to make sure that travel is not something deterring you from choosing Weston College.
Weston College consists of three main campuses including Knightstone, Loxton, and South West Skills, but also other more specific campuses such as Puxton, Health and Active Living Skills Centre, Winter Gardens, Weston Bay, and the Construction Training Centre.
We are an environmentally sustainable college and encourage learners to travel economically. This includes travelling to college by bus or train, or lift sharing with friends. See below to find out the best route to get to your campus.
TRAVELLING BY BUS FROM BROADOAK?
When travelling by bus from the Broadoak area, the best bus operator for your journey is First Bus, and by being a Weston College student, you can get a subsidised bus travel pass to save you money on your journey.
Knightstone Campus
From Broadoak or close to, take the number 7 bus and get off directly outside the campus.
South West Skills Campus
From Broadoak or close to, take the X1 to the bus station, then change to the number 7 bus and get off at the Borough Arms (the campus bus stop).
Loxton Campus
From Broadoak or close to, take the number 7 bus and get off directly outside the campus.

TRAVELLING BY TRAIN FROM BROADOAK?
If travelling from the surrounding area of Broadoak, a train isn’t suitable for your journey. However, if you’re travelling from elsewhere, the closest stations to any of the 3 main Weston College campuses is either Weston-Super-Mare station or Weston Milton station, depending on your main campus, and then a short walk. Being a Weston College student, you can get a great discount on a railcard to save you money on your journey.

If you’re 16 or 17, you can purchase the 16-17 railcard and get half price train travel on most journeys.
If you’re between 18 and 25, you can purchase the 18-25 railcard and get 1/3 off train travel on most journeys.

If you don’t live near Broadoak, there are many alternative bus and train routes so you can find the most efficient way of getting to your campus.
