The side-bun with a twist

This hairstyle is quick and easy but looks stunning and stylish.

To achieve it, all you need to do is create a side-parting and French braid from one side of the head to the base of the other side, securing with hairpins.

Then with the remaining hair, twist into a low side-bun and secure.

Pull out a few strands at the front to frame your face and voila!

The waterfall braid

This style is widely shared across Pinterest because it’s so simple yet very beautiful.

To achieve this, all you need to do is French braid from the top of one ear and across the back of your head, but rather than picking up more hair and adding to the braid you drop a section and add in new hair from behind, dropping and adding all the way across. 

The half-up

There are so many variations of this style, so you can go as fancy or as simple as you like!

It’s simple to achieve – you just section off the top half of your hair – add a little volume if that’s the look you’re going for – and secure at the back!

To add a little more of the wow factor, you can twist together the top sections of hair to make it look a little more decorative and curl the ends of your hair.

The French twist

This look is another that can be as simple or extravagant as you make it.

To achieve a basic French twist, simply tease your hair around the crown then push all your hair to one side, pinning vertically at the back of the head (only level with the top of your ear!).

With the remaining hair, begin twisting from the ends in towards the middle of your head at the back. Once you are happy with position, pin in place!
