Meet the team

Jodie Silmon - ASPECT Manager

Jodie manages the ASPECT team. ASPECT is an acronym for Advice, Schools, Progression, Employability, Careers and Transition. ASPECT is responsible for the delivery of careers information, advice and guidance (IAG) to all learners within the College progressing on to the next level of course, employment or higher education. ASPECT is also responsible for delivering IAG to school students regarding their post 16 progression options.

Hamish Gilpin - UCAS Lead

Hamish provides information, advice and guidance (IAG) on progression onto Higher Education, including an extensive tutorial programme, drop in sessions and 1:1s on UCAS and the application process and Student Finance.

Olivia Dyke - School Partnership and Progression Officer

Olivia works in the local secondary schools delivering IAG on the post 16 options available at Weston College. Olivia also works with Weston College learners, delivering careers and progression IAG, including through 1:1 appointments, drop in sessions and a tutorial programme, with a focus on employability.

Thursday from 8.30am until 5pm in C03.
