Through an increasingly computer dependent world, having knowledge and skills in computing will be hugely beneficial for your own development, as well as something many employers are after. This qualification is widely recognised, as it combines theory and practical study, giving a range of skills.
You will gain knowledge of the latest technology, which will assist you when you’ll produce professional websites, create and manage computer networks and security, and design and develop applications. You will cover a broad range of topics, including social media, graphics and encryption.
Alongside your course, you can join our Esports academy, train for national competitions and become an ambassador for the area.
What will the course involve?
You will work with real-life employers to resolve business problems, learning the skills that they look for when recruiting IT staff, as well as taking part in work experience within the IT industry.
You will also get the chance to become Microsoft-certified through Microsoft Office Specialist qualifications. As part of this study programme, you will develop skills in independent and group working, presenting, and maths and English. You will also attend tutorials and Individual Development (ID) or Future Academy.

How will the course be assessed?
You will be assessed through observations of practical work, group work, presentations, coursework, and exams.
Are there any additional costs?
Some programmes may require a dress code, this will be discussed further at interview.
